Mr. Gaurav Basnet, is a revered figure in Nepalese football and futsal circles with an extensive 27+year career. Formerly the coach of Manang Marshyangdi Club in Nepal’s A Division, he currently holds the prestigious position of Head Coach of the National Futsal Team. With three consecutive terms representing the national team, including two as Head Coach, Mr. Basnet has guided Nepal to international stages such as Iran, Kyrgyzstan, and Mongolia. Renowned for his strategic prowess and dedication to grassroots development, he is a prominent figure in the country’s footballing landscape.
Mr. Basnet’s commitment to nurturing talent is exemplified by the establishment of the Tiptoe Sports Academy, aimed at fostering the growth of football and futsal from the grassroots level upward. Through the Tiptoe Sports Academy, he’s sowing the seeds of grassroots development, nurturing the next generation of football and futsal talent from the ground up. As the former National Football Team Captain and the highest international goal scorer from Nepal, his contributions on the field have been unparalleled. Transitioning from an active player to a guiding force, he served as the former Head Coach of the National Women’s Football Team, and later, as the Acting Technical Director for ANFA, showcasing his versatility and dedication to fostering talent.
Currently, Mr. Khadka has taken on the roles of brand ambassador and technical advisor at TipToe Sports Academy, leveraging his extensive experience and knowledge to elevate the academy to new heights. His involvement is poised to significantly impact the development of emerging football talents, ensuring that the academy achieves its next level of success.

The passionate sports lover, sports educator and sports promoter Mr. Neupane is the Lecturer in Master’s Programme in Sports Science at Tribhuvan University. He has contributed to the development and promotion of football in the nation working efficiently as the Competition Manager of the All Nepal Football Association since 2019. He has been a member of the FIFA Fan Movement since 2019. He completed the AFC Football Management Diploma in 2022. He has worked as the Match Commissioner and General Coordinator of several national and international football competitions. He has completed more than fifty sports courses and has been certified officially.
He aims to educate children and youths on sports and its importance. We believe the involvement of a dedicated, sincere, and educated person like Mr. Neupane shall help us benefit infinitely from his experience and knowledge in the sports sector. His expertise shall help our academy in achieving our goals and motivating new talents in football and futsal. Sports education is the need of this generation and it is important to produce sports scientists and experts for the development of sports in Nepal. He believes sports education can help for the holistic development of the children.
